No, all time. LSU is tied at #5 with Arkansas at 42 national championships. This list excludes Division 1 FBS Football, Equestrian, & Pre-Tournament Helms Titles; therefore, LSU is ahead of Arkansas at 46 National Titles
Including the 1935 basketball title, that makes 47.
Including the 1908 football title, that makes 48.

Bama owns a 102-67 head-to-head advantage over LSU in basketball, including beating LSU just last week - so we're not talking ancient history here. Bama basketball > LSU basketball, dwi.

Only one school has won a NC in football and basketball in the same year.

That is a remarkable feat!

Lol k. Keep clinging to that
Eta while yes, bama may hold an overall advantage in head to head, the basket ball program as a whole and historically is certainly not better.

Probably Florida. They're the only SEC school to have multiple Titles in both.
2 NCs in basketball and 3 in football. I am not sure there is another school in the country that can claim such football/basketball success.

Florida.
They've won two titles in basketball and two in football in the last decade.
They're a year removed from a Sugar Bowl and are currently No. 3 in basketball. LSU might be No. 2 though.

Have to remember that basketball season is 2013-2014 and we have yet to play football in 2014.
But UFs back to back with a NC football and a Heisman winner to boot? Come on man!

I think you're forgetting that Alabama basketball is a historically shitty program.
Really? Historically Bama is a very good program. They suck over the past decade, but they are not "historically shitty." How old are you?

What does football have to do with basketball and vice versa?
