Really? Alabama 2012 is the last one I can remember them not being favored in.

Just shoot me. LSU should have beat the brakes off that team.

LSU went from Nov. 16, 2002 to Oct. 10, 2009 without losing at home on a Saturday night.

That's pretty cool. Of course, most of their tough games were during the day in that time period, considering LSU and Florida were the darlings of CBS at the time. But still, we played some tough teams at night, too.

Counting the Florida game in 2009, we've lost three since then. That's not cool.

Yeah, no.

There was no clear best team in the SEC in 2012.

Alabama, Georgia, LSU, aTm, and Florida were all very close to each others' level, IMO. Any of them could have beaten the other on any given day.

Although, once Florida became somewhat of the dumpster fire that they resemble currently towards the end of the 2012 season, you can exclude them from this list.

How does this make you good? Can't #3 end up being ranked #1?

The only at home night losses that we were underdogs in that I can remember were
'12 Bama
'09 UF
shite I can't remember past '09

'08 was a 2:30 game in IIRC
'08 UGA was also a 2:30 game

3rd was the Tennessee game after Katrina. Les's first game in Death Valley. Up 21-0 at the half and lost in OT.

Here is another fun fact. LSU hasn't lost at home to anyone other than the the National Champion since 2008.

However the last team to do it and not win a national championship was Ole Miss.

Should be interesting. I think the Home crowd can make a difference in a game like this.

We were underdogs in that game? We were #4 and they were #10, but I don't remember who the favorite was.

ETA: You have to go all the way back to 2002 vs Bama for the 3rd time that we lost to a higher ranked team at night in Death Valley
