Folks, this is what Aggy myopia looks like. In 1996, the SEC expands and adds a new yearly opponent (Arkansas) to LSU's schedule. Apparently, it was just an excuse for LSU not to accept a two-year extension on its contract to play Aggy.
After it finished the 10-year contract with A&M, LSU's schedule got pretty crowded due to conference expansion. Still, the way Aggy tells it, it was only about A&M winning six out of 10 games, and had nothing to do with the changing SEC landscape. I mean, LSU was playing shitty football in the early '90s and was losing to pretty much everyone that didn't wear a Mississippi State jersey, but, sure, A&M was the team that LSU was worried about losing to.
Tell us again why A&M didn't want to play Texas these past few seasons? Too many SEC games? Too many other commitments to play non-conference games? Aggy logic says you were just scared to play the horns.

You do realize LSU played all ten regular season games in 2020. Meanwhile in college station, Jimbo forfeited the game against Ole Miss in the hopes of making the playoff.
