While LSU was indeed lucky to get into the BCS with two losses, they didn't get there with a specially designed SEC bridge schedule.
Without the Bama friendly SEC bridge schedule, TAM would have gone to the BCS championship instead of Bama.
Bama's biggest competition that year, LSU and TAM both had to play Florida, while Bama got Tennessee and Missouri.
Bama didn't get luck, they got special treatment.
