LSU’s ace, Cole Henry, who has been injured for over a month now, has out of nowhere been named the starter against South Carolina. Absolutely huge for us

Sadly Jaden Hill is still not returning

Henry might pitch 2-3 innings. He'll be rusty. But, given out lack of pitching, it is big to get CH back even on short duty.

Yea I don’t care how long he pitches if he feels good. What matters is regionals and having him, Walker, and Marceaux all back is huge

You know I’m messing with you HS15. I’m sure it will be a great matchup

We gotta take care of business against SC first though

Oh yeah? Aren’t they batting like .205 against righties?

Good thing that’s all we have

1 more win might just lock up a host spot. Gotta win game 1 play in if you want to play another one.

Usually I would agree don’t waste him against SC, but as Farmer said it’s as simple as we win we host. Gotta throw everything at that game

Will be interesting to see if Ethan Small pitches against you should you win. He’s our Ace that beat you the Friday game. Even so, I doubt coach Lemonis will let him run up a normal pitch count. We already locked up a top 8 seed and I heard he wants our pitching arms fresh going into the regionals.

It will be different no matter what though because Hess pitched against Small last time. If Small dies pitch it will be a completely different matchup. If Ginn pitches it will be a completely different matchup. Only one that would be the same is if y’all pitched your Sunday guy. Should be a great game if we get there

That’s exactly right and LSU has to win. SC is down this year but they still have talent and it’s baseball.

Ginn pitched hurt vs LSU. He’s just stobborn and said he was ok. It was after the LSU game (or during) coaching staff knew something wasn’t right. He’s close to 100% but to be honest he needs to sit out the sec tourney. We need him more for the Ncaa regionals and super etc.

No he’s been back close to 100% for several weeks. I think he’s probably 90%. It’s some lingering soarness after so many pitches and as one who has watched him all year, you can tell when it starts to bother him because his stuff is not nasty and he struggles with those pitches he likes to just keep in the strike zone. Like I said, I would rest him. We have nothing to gain in the Sec tourney outside of some bragging garbage.
