Just curious. If you didn't make it to the game in 2009 and it's been 4 years or more since you've visited the stadium and parts of the campus have changed pretty dramatically.

The pre-game jumbotron presentation is WAY better than it was under Shula too. No more intro to the Bear Bryant video (they play that several minutes before teams hit the field), no more old outdated songs or boring 50 year old Bama trivia during commercials breaks either. Regardless of the outcome of the game, I think you'll find it a more enjoyable experience.

Been living in Bamaland for over 6 years and this will be my first time. I am really looking forward to spending the entire weekend up there. I hope the weather is good! Can't wait to this epic game.

AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" actually. I know quite a few schools do this and it's a bit NFLish for my tastes but I have to admit it's pretty cool how the Jumbotron shows them walking the tunnel to the opening guitar/drum riffs. I like LSU's classic band walk out the best, but I like Alabama's a lot better now than coming out to the Bryant video.

Excerpt from James Spann (Bham weather guy) this afternoon talking about next weekend on his weather blog:

"NEXT WEEK: We stay dry for the first half of the week; models are in better agreement with a cold front arriving Thursday night along with a chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm. A new surge of cool, dry air arrives for Friday and the following weekend. At this point the weather is looking pretty good for the Alabama/LSU game in Tuscaloosa November 5. See the Weather Xtreme video for details."

Tuscaloosa is always a blast. Have never seen visiting fans take over like LSU did in '07. Easily 30+k there

I was there in 03 and 05. Had a great time. Can't wait for this experience win or lose. I found the fans very classy, before, during and after. Love the tradition.

Nothing compared to when we took over Neyland a few years ago. It was a home game.
