Bama, Old Myth, and Ark(three beatdowns) did most of the sell job to return..that and draft grades I'm sure for most but not all.

All of them needed to come back minus White, Beckwith, and maybe Pocic. If Beckwith went, we would have been screwed pretty badly.

I don't know what was different this year to year's past. It seems like any of the teams over the last several years could have been championship caliber if they returned a couple more seniors. We've kind of just gotten used to the idea we have to in with young players.
Maybe they all finally believe they can win a championship if they stay. A championship team has a longer lasting bond and tradition than those that simply played together. You can't have as great a reunion party when you don't have rings to show off to everyone. I think the players want to do something special now knowing they might not have the opportunity later in life.

Cosby from what I've heard it may have been like a domino effect or peer pressure sort of thing. Even Jerald Hawkins, the only Jr leaving, was seriously thinking about staying.

There are several reasons....Aranda for sure helped with the D players staying. Many of previous juniors now regret not staying another year to develop so Miles can use that too. Let's also not ignore the fact that Miles has turned into an animal after his close departure and is taking whatever coaches he wants, players he wants and now whatever jrs he wants. SEC on notice yo
