Now let's compare the competition against whom they were playing. How many top ten opponents, for example?

Burrow is older and wiser. He's less likely to try and force throws.
Clemson's defense isn't as talented as it was last year. Three of their DL are in the NFL.
Clemson's offense isn't as productive as it was last year.
I know it's only been a year, but Clemson isn't where it was last year, and Burrow is less likely to try and force throws (and LSU is less likely to fall behind because of Clemson's offense)
LSU is also not a walking triage unit.

We played them both. Burrow was significantly better and so was LSU overall.

Posted in another thread:
Teams LSU has beaten this season (not counting their loss to LSU):
Georgia: 12-1
Bama: 11-1
Florida: 11-1
Oklahoma: 12-1
Auburn: 9-3
Texas: 8-4
Texas A&M: 8-4
USU: 7-5
GSU: 7-5
MSU: 6-6
10/14 games against bowl eligible teams, 4 of whom won at least 11 games and lost only one excluding LSU.
If we use 2019 as our frame of reference, you can add 13-0 UCF to the list.
Clemson played one good team, was dominated in the trenches and scraped by with a win in a game in which they were outplayed.
Point being, Burrow is having the best season in CFB history playing in the toughest division in the toughest conference - a conference with as many formidable teams as every other conference combined.
Lawrence (excuse me, “T-Law”) has played 3A high school competition + one game in which he completed less than 55% of his passes.
For reference, Burrow is on pace to set the all-time NCAA completion percentage record playing the murderer’s row of teams above.
You may want to reevaluate your logic. Or double down on delusion if doing so helps get you through the week.

theyre all up in arms crying about lil burro even though no NFL team would ever consider him before T-Law.
Come Tuesday morning, your qb will look like shane falco in his last college game.

I love those stats. they are spectacular.
Last years game has nothing to do with this years game.
We all saw the Clemson team that was shitting on itself against OSU, they let you off the hook with a Dobbins injury.
You better pray something similar happens.
The team in orange was imploding, out of sorts, and had no answer at all until the injury.

Wait, what is that revisionist bullshite?
I seem to remember:
January 11, 2016, Glendale, AZ, #2 Alabama 45 - #1 Clemson 40
and
January 1, 2018, New Orleans, LA, #4 Alabama 24 - #1 Clemson 6
Did those contests not happen in your eyes?

I fail to see where any of this is relevant to what I posted.
It’s not a comparison of Burrow and Lawrence. Or even Clemson and LSU.
It’s 2018 Tua and 2019 Burrow.
Simply pointing out “the greatest College football QB of all time” is less Efficient, Has less yards per attempt, and Less yards per completion than a QB one season ago, from your same division playing very similar competition.
