LSU fans, take it from a fan of a school that cheats perpetually

You're fricked. There is no scenario where this situation doesn't end in at least one of the following outcomes:
1. Someone gets fired.
2. Wins get vacated.
3. Probation is given.
Numerous smoke signals were up before Ole Miss went down in 2017. Where there is smoke, there is a fire, and the Bayou is, unfortunately, burning beneath your feet. Your university leadership fricked up, your coaches fricked up, and your players fricked up. Even worse, your head officials tried to cover it all up. That never ends well, we Rebel fans know it.
You can continue to deny the inevitable. However, the worst thing your school can do is try to fight back. How can anyone defend multiple cases of sexual assault, highly inappropriate recruiting tactics, and sleazy cover-ups? When one of your own University's executives sues another executive for $50 million, there isn't anything else to do besides taking your punishment. This situation will end better that way.
I feel bad for you guys. It's never fun seeing something you care about go down in flames, especially in such a heinous manner. My only suggestion is that the fans get off the ship before it sinks into the Gulf of Mexico. Find a new team to root for, or maybe take up stamp-collecting as a hobby: anything to take your mind off of the burning cathedral that is the LSU Athletic Department.

Seems like every fanbase is highly vested in Lsu getting the death penalty that is never going to happen. If people get fired it’s not going to be the people that you hoped would, and the only thing that you said that made any sense was some type of probation. It truly amazes me how fans from others universities that would usually be at each-other throat can come together against LSU. It seems to me that you guys are doing the most and wishing for the worst. Yes, some lay players screwed up, and truly, THE PREVIOUS COACH MADE AN ATTEMPT TO COVER IT UP. BUT, let’s not forget the main principle; “ BRPD DIDN'T PRESS CHARGES AFTER THEY HAD CONCLUDED THEIR INVESTIGATION, THEREFORE ALL THEY HAD AND STILL HAVE AT THIS POINT IS ACCUSATIONS!
