What happens next year when you're 2-6 in the SEC again? There's always "next year" as long as we beat the cajuns!!

We don't look at LSU as a rival for heaven sakes. We look at them as another good SEC team, just another game.
LSU is generally ranked high and it add's to our teams excitement to play the high ranked teams.
Arkansas will be ranked coming out of the gate next year, should be fun playing LSU in Death Valley. We don't need a stinking rival, just play each team one at a time.

Your "desperate to be relevant" fanbase sure doesn't act that way towards LSU (on this board anyway). They're quick to discredit LSU in an attempt to prop themselves up as relevant (which they aren't yet). Just an observation.

This is a good point. I don't particularly hate LSU more than others (in fact, I kind of like them). For me, it's a "special" game because they're usually highly ranked and we usually have a good chance of beating them, regardless of how good or bad our season is going. Not really a rivalry, just a probable win.

Talking smack? I think we're just trying to help you all come to grips and understand the Arkansas perspective on this supposed "rivalry" that you all keep trying to push on us.

You guys perform about the same as after your rivalry with powerhouse Ole Miss. It will get worse if you guys keep trying to "out-Arkansas" Arkansas. You guys should talk Cameron in to switching to the HUNH spread attack.

If by heavyweights you mean Tyson vs. Spinks then I can see your point. That game didn't seem to take its "toll" on Bama as the following game they beat #1 MSU.

The SEC put this in place when Arkansas joined the SEC. Now the SEC is pushing the LSU/A&M rivalry, hence the schedule change of the Thanksgiving game.
In reality LSU fans are split up on who the realy rival is but most would look at Ole Miss, Bama or Burn.
