I was there. It was fun. Getting drunk before and after was fun. Yeah we lost. But one thing I remember was prior to the game, Snoop Dogg did two music videos, each depicting OU and LSU. For those of you who went, do you remember that? Random post; just somehow that stuck with me more than anything about the whole experience.

I do remember that. Funny enough I was visiting with Snoop not too long ago about it when I was in LA at a convention. I'm not kidding btw

Yes. We had saints staff members spy on your practices in the super dome. When it looked like we always knew the play y'all were gonna run, it's because we did know.

I do vaguely remember that. But I don't remember much as I was crushing the wild Turkey that day

Yeah he was doing it so it would be ready for the winner

Wasn’t he still hanging around B.R. with NoLimitRecords at the time?

Who’s #1? Who’s #2? Is it Oklahoma or is it LSU?

Still remember it vividly and I was only 15 at the time

I remember something about that, but I was still in the food line.

The thing I remember most was Donnie Jones' punt tricking out of bounds exactly as the last second ticked off of the clock. My dad, brother and nephew were there with me.

OU's drive in the 4th when they nearly tied it up was the most tense few minutes of my sports life

Yeah they showed the video on TV before the game

Pretty sure he had braided hair for OU and let the hair all out be wild when LSU

That’s what sticks out most to me

#1 was definitely LSU. #2 was definitely USC.

They had a goody bag on every seat back, and there was a video game for whatever the new hot handheld system coming out was supposed to be. I never saw that device IRL, but I think I still have the useless game cartridge in a souvenir box somewhere.

The device was the Nokia N-Gage. Don't remember the game.

I have a “cool story bro” about that game. A few months after the game, I was playing a college baseball game in the Dome. In the locker room after the game I was searching everywhere for leftover Saints/NFL memorabilia. A shirt, a wristband, anything. I wasn’t finding anything, so I stood up on one of the benches to look on top of the lockers. I saw a rolled up stapled packet of papers. I grabbed it, opened it up, and it was LSU’s practice script for the OU game. Everything was handwritten, I remember “THUD & FINISH” written in all caps. My guess is Saban wrote it but I have no way to be sure. I kept it for years but I think I lost it at some point. I may have to check the attic.

But yes I was there and I remember the Snoop videos like it was yesterday. Seemed pretty random at the time. I remember me and my brother looking at each other after it played like “WTF was that?”
