You’re wrong, I actually like it. We will find out if this guy is cut out for pressure. Washington matched it with air 70% less stress and your process in place. If the guy can handle it, kudos. If not he gets the bag and fails. Recruiting will be a big change for him, Saban was the closer, he had the pedigree to show these 5 stars that he will develop them and have them ready for the pros. Will see if the new guy can handle it.

I think Bama made a great hire. I'm also impressed with the rapid way it was handled,

I think he's a good hire. But he's obviously not Saban. I don't care who they hire. He's not Saban.
I have enormous respect for Saban and I'm greatful for what he did for LSU while he was there. But I'm glad he's gone.
This is what the East Germans must have felt like when the Berlin Wall fell and the iron fisted rule of the Soviets crumbled after so many years.
DeBoer will probably do a nice job. But the sky is a little more blue, the air a little more crisp and the sun a little brighter now that the Saban era is over at Alabama.
