The difference is Saban actually credited his success to his system and his people. You actually thought by hiring Lane you would get the system. Nope you are gonna have to completely rebuild it and some huge components didn’t go with him. You got his OC and his enablers, that is it! Wait and see, I will be here to remind you.

In 2010, no one outside the SEC footprint knew where Louisiana State University was located, much less what stadium they played in.
There are at least 25 sports stadiums or arenas in America alone more notable than the ersatz Death Valley.

Kiffin was 7-6 at Tennessee, 28-15 at USC for goodness sake, 26-13 at Florida Atlantic ( are they even division 1 ?), and 32-17 in the SEC at Ole Miss.
