Lol it’s hilarious how everyone on here from other schools is calling LSU scum bags etc based off a USA Today article, written by a Marxist, when everyone of these teams in the sec were recently “marching” for justice for violent thugs like Jacob Blake and George Floyd. If irony were made of strawberries, everyone on this board would be drinking a lot of smoothies right now. Go ask your boys on you Georgia team what they think of George Floyd and Jacob Blake, bc every athlete in this conference has sought out to make them martyrs.

That's not really true. We're calling you scum bags because your entire University is scandal plagued and instead of having the intestinal fortitude to hold your people accountable, the majority of you are rushing in to defend or altogether dismiss the actions.

FWIW, the original article was published by the USA Today. The marxist was the one demanding Coach O be fired. The USA Today article was the one that outlined the accusations.

At times. I can’t speak for everyone, but Bama fans wanted DuBose out after his secretary scandal, and a lot wanted Mike Price gone after his fiasco. I think fans and universities as a whole are more willing to put up with BS when there is a high level of achievement within the programs.

Kinda like how all the Bama players marching for Jacob Blake and George Floyd just dismissed they were violent rapists thugs? I guess it’s ok to stand up and fight for violent thugs so long as it doesn’t pertain directly to you. Don’t preach what you don’t practice.
Also if players getting paid under the table really irritates you (which I don’t think it does) then I suggest you stop following college sports, bc that shite is literally happening EVERYWHERE.

Yes they did and it pissed me off. But I’m not being a hypocrite pointing fingers. My point is If your teams players are standing up for and defending rapists like Jacob Blake, then you’re in no position to judge LSU for its current situation.

Exactly.
And DuBose was expendable because his fiasco caught fire during a 3-8 season. Price hadn't coached a game and Bama was embarrassed by the whole matter in a similar fashion to the George O'Leary situation at Notre Dame from a couple years prior. The program is a high achiever but both coaches were far from proven high achievers and therefore expendable.
Coach O is highly likely to find out how expendable he is soon enough. He's had a good run but it won't take many more losses for the worm to turn in a hurry.
