LSU fans: Any concerns about running a 2 QB system in the opener?

Seems like a dicey proposition against a physical, punch-you-in-the-mouth Wisconsin team. Good luck.

Yeah, I will be following it closely week 1. LSU has had success with a QB by committee approach before.

I would rather a clear cut guy but with our OC, OL, and RBs I think they can make something work

Yeah...Jefferson-Lee worked wonders.

lsu fans will rationalize anything. Most of them won't have any concerns
The reality is that if the competition is close enough that you can discern which qb is better, then you're better off picking one and allowing him to establish a rapport and rhythm with the offense
Plugging in a new qb every few drives is a great way to slow the evolution of your offense over the course of a season
If that's what they plan to do, then I don't think we're going to have that much trouble stopping their offense
Landisch and Herring will be in their backfield all night so it probably won't matter at the end of the day.

Are all Auburn fans stupid? 13-0 in 2011. Yep. Horrid.

What world are you living in? It was 13-1.

It looks like Bama will have a similar approach to the QB situation this year.

I don't recall.

I think LSU will be fine with below average play from either QB.
A strong O-line and exceptional running game will carry them.
Pass D should be great as well, but D-line is questionable. If LSU gets good play from their front 7, they should be able to win most games.

Reading comprehension. 13-0 in 2011. The loss was in 2012.

With our oline and RBs it doesn't matter which QB is in there.

To the tune of a 45-10 arse whoopin.

We will have a clear cut guy by our SEC opener Miss St. Both guys have been playing well

Didn't you guy lose your entire front 7, and you will be going against arguably the best O-line in the SEC. Your linebackers are going to have Mcgee's and Fournette's pecker tracks on their heads by halftime.

Harris will be the fulltime starter fairly quickly this year, Jennings is hot garbage.

Harris will be the starting QB by year-end IMO, but for multiple reasons you gotta give them both a shot early in the season. It's the right move. Let's see which one turns it on.

The exact same thing can be said about your offense scooter. The difference being is that everyone knows your QB is shite. We dont actually know the full measure of ours yet.
