Ohio State at full health would give Georgia a very close game. Actually picked them to begin the season. However, Smith-Njigba declaring and leaving the team early, plus the uncertainty of Treveyon, doesn’t make things easier. Ryan Day seems to be losing the team some and that Michigan loss will affect Ohio State pass this season, in my opinion at least. Georgia, much like Michigan is extremely well-coached. I feel Ohio State relies more on the talent component than anything else. That won’t bode well for Day against Kirby and his army. I anticipate a Georgia-Michigan showdown, as it should’ve just been.

Georgia and Michigan are the two best defenses in the nation. Not sure what he’s going on about. LSU doesn’t have the depth yet but the starters have immense talent. It’s just elite talent meets elite talent and someone is going to get the better of the other. Albeit 502 is plenty, but there is context within that.
Ohio State relies more on the talent and isn’t coached as well as a Georgia or Michigan. Not to say Day is a bad coach, far from it, but Georgia matches Ohio State in terms of sheer talent and Kirby is certainly a better coach. Not a great recipe for Ohio State. Georgia by 10.

Your inability to read is depressing (I’m always disappointed about rank stupidity). Find one post where I said Georgia’s defense was exposed. All I’ve said is Daniels on one leg was very successful passing on Georgia. I also have several posts saying I think Georgia did back off to a degree in the second half and I’m sure lost focus with the big lead. I also have several posts where I have stated I expect with three weeks to prepare and Kirby being able to point to the less than stellar defensive performance Saturday that Georgia will, in my opinion, play defense more like they did against Tennessee than they did against LSU. I’m sorry your insecurity and/or stupidity doesn’t allow you to understand what I’ve clearly expressed multiple times. Also confused as to how you can’t acknowledge, while your offense was utterly dominant Saturday, that your defense didn’t play particularly well.
Lol.
Congrats on your 50 yard FG drive to cut UGA's halftime lead to 25 I guess. I guess that proves... something... to you. I'm not sure why you think you're being intelligent by jumping in a thread titled "LSU exposed Georgia's defense", trying to post evidence to support that idea and then claiming others can't read when you get called an idiot for making such a dumb argument.
LSU fans have gone full retard post SECCG... and you've joined them. But keep thinking that somehow you're smarter than those pointing out your stupidity.
The reality is UGA made adjustments in the first quarter at the point LSU tied the game 7-7... and held them to drives of -2, 8, 0 and -6 while opening the lead to 35-7 (while missing a FG on one of their drives)
They then played prevent the rest of the game. Their prevent defense wasn't good... but the reality is you are only using that if you have a huge lead so it's not really a weakness to worry about. If UGA has another game they go up by 4 touchdowns in and plays poor prevent defense... I'm really not all that concerned about it.
I get you're confused that garbage time started BEFORE THE HALF in the SECCG... but it did. LSU's success was all garbage time. The closest LSU got the game was 18 points. Garbage time stats have no relevance on how the teams played when the game was in doubt.
I realize this post is likely wasted because of your lack of intelligence and ability to comprehend what you see when watching the game. You believe the defense that held LSU to 7 points when the game was in doubt was an issue. But hey... you do you.

Daniels was 16 for 24 for 208 yards despite the fact his greatest weapon up to that point, his ability to run, was unavailable. Spin it however you want.

Ohio State was built to beat Georgia. We can put up over 600.
1. No
2. You won't
Y'all have the athletes in place, but Day was born on 3rd base but has found himself back on 2nd. And no one in your program possesses an ounce of toughness, grit, or physicality. You're going to get railroaded by some grown arse men.

Everyone said Alabama exposed the UGA defense last season in Atlanta. How did it work out for Meatchicken and Bama in the playoffs?
Fact: Under Kirby, UGA has lost exactly once when having 21 days or longer to prepare for an opponent.

GA toyed with LSU the second half. As soon as LSU gained a little momentum they just shut the door.

quote:He made good throws in the zone coverage. Would have been a more competitive if LSU had a semblance of a running game. Part of that was Daniels' injury, but UGA also just has a stout run defense. Making a QB one-dimensional is what defenses want to do. He played well for what he could do, but yards are meaningless if you get stuffed in the red zone.

UGA, all season, has had a bend-don't-break defense, where they are OK with giving up yards between the 20's but then lock down and minimize points in the red zone. You could see that to some extent on Saturday. We gave up 10 points to the QB we schemed for. Kudos to the backup for making the 2nd half more exciting, but the game wasn't in doubt.
