I’ve read all these excuses already, many of which are factually untrue. Do you have any new material? Your defense had a bad game. It’s ok.

Tell me what is false here, thanks:

If the game weren’t over at halftime, Georgia wouldn’t have passed 5 times in the second half. Georgia still scored 15 more points while doing that. If the offense goes conservative, why would the defense not do the same? Why didn’t Jalen Carter stay in and carry the QB around a few more times? Why play so many backups in the 4th? It’s not like we were going to the playoffs or anything. Should have just focused on stats.

I thought so. But not nearby as bad as that guy was zinging that seat in front of him. Looks to me he wasnt t like you. He must have actually thought LSU actually had a chance. As ridiculous as that was

Hey THE Ohio State fan. You sound just like Michigan did last year and we all know how that worked out for them. Lol

Too bad Kirby called off the Dawgs. 50 was nice but 70 would have been even better

That doesn’t make your secondary look better when they’re getting beat downfield and over the top constantly. Keeping everything in front of you, one would expect to see a bunch of 7-10 yard plays, not chunks like LSU was doing much of the game.

They clearly were concerned with Daniels legs.

No one was concerned with his legs by the end of the first quarter.

Yes the secondary played like arse.

And that’s all I’ve been saying and apparently I didn’t watch the game if I came to the same conclusion

Listen dude. No one is saying your offense didn’t dominate. After the initial three and out and Georgia started throwing the ball it was ugly. And I have no doubt they could have continued it in the second half if they needed to. But I don’t lie to myself. Matter of fact if the OSU defense that played against MIchigan shows up in Atlanta you might score 63 like LSU did against Oklahoma in 2019. Having said that, your defense wasn’t good on Saturday. Not sure why or if OSU will have as much success, but what happened happened. Denial and excuses don’t help

The worst part was the safety play which has been really good this year. Smith played well but the true freshman Starks finally looked like one. They did get beat over the top a few times, frankly in safety help plays to boot. On the last LSU TD, they just lost track of the the guy, there were 2 DB’s in the end zone and the LSU receiver was still just standing there by himself. Not bringing more pressure was a bad idea. They did bring some pressure in the second half. And they did get some stops in the second half. I’m not sure why they stayed in zone coverage. LSU wasn’t even trying to run the ball. The really weren’t throwing to the TE in seams either.

Couple things. You did not play a lot of backups in the second half. That’s a lie. It wasn’t until LSU’s last possession that you did. I sat there wondering why Kirby would take a chance on losing a contributor on a targeting call when the game was over. And I’ll give you that you played softer to a degree in the second half (though you blitzed quite a few times). Oddly enough you don’t even make the best excuse Georgia had. That with a big second half lead your defense probably lost focus. But all of that completely ignores what I said originally. Jayden Daniels on one leg carved you up in the first half. Deny it all you want. But it’s unequivocally true.

The myth of the Georgia Bulldog Defense was exposed by LSU in the SECCG. LSU put up over 500 Yards of total offense, actually outgaining Georgia.

Ohio State was built to beat Georgia. We can put up over 600.

Gotta a month to hear this shite. Please convince your players, coaches and beatwriters to say it.

I truly think the second half was a combination of playing with a big lead and Nussmeir surprising Georgia with how big his arm was on occasion. He can flat out sling it. I think the first half was a combination of Georgia thinking run first to a degree, LSU having a really good game plan and Daniels being sharper than I’ve seen him look. I fully expect Georgia to look more like normal with three weeks to get ready for OSU.
