From a UT perspective they want you to hire Jimbo Fisher.
Reason why is because you are hiring a coach at an outrageous price who will give you Kevin Sumlin like results.

Herman has a history over his coaching career of shitting the bed against mediocre to average teams.

Case in point:

2015: 20-17 loss to 6-7 UConn

2016: 46-40 loss to 9-5 Navy, 38-16 loss to 5-7 SMU, 48-44 loss to 8-5 Memphis

2017: 51-41 loss to 4-8 Maryland, 27-23 loss to 6-6 Texas Tech

The winningest coach in your history went 20 years without winning a conference title.

Fisher has 4 in 8 years.

DKR won the SWC Championship his third year in Austin.
Mack Brown does not have more wins than Royal.

Mack Brown is a very overrated coach in terms of hands on game expierence.
Many believe Herman is better than Mack Brown as a recruiter and during the game.

Using the Red River Shootout for an example
This year.

If Mack Brown would have coached that game Texas would have been blown out by 40 after going down three scores.
Herman made adjustments and lost that game by a single TD.

Herman is also better by not giving jobs to players and making them earn their time in the field.

Herman's issue is that he thinks he is too smart. Along with Beck.
They are always trying to outsmart the defense instead of dancing with the ones that brung Ya

I have been around football for 35 years and I see the difference and so do a lot of people around UT.

Most of these supposed analyst repeat that they are told to say in the production meeting.

Outrageous price?

You paid 12,000,000 for 6 wins this year

Herman inherited a crappy team.

I'm not ready to call Herman a bust, but this right here is WILDLY inaccurate.

Texas was 5-7 the year before Herman got there. That is crappy in my book.

Difference is that UT didn't throw over 400 million dollars at a stadium renovation.

Texas has built up a surplus of revenue the last 15 years.
Plus they are bringing in 20 million more than Ohio State who has the second highest revenue in college athletics.

One beat the other with a non P5 roster.

But maybe you are right.. 125 years of history are about to be reversed, A&M to blue blood & Texas to the sleeping giant that never was.

Naw, history will repeat itself.

I predicted that they would be anywhere between 7-5 and 9-3 this year. I did not see them getting blown out by Maryland and losing to Texas Tech

That’s exactly what I had Md was a bad loss. Tech a lost opportunity. Still impossible to project next year by he probably needs to go at least 9-3 next year

It is public information.
You can access UT's financial forms for every year since 2002.
You can also access A&M's every year since 2002.

Funny how the revenue from 2015-2016 was collected by A&M and released with inaccurate data including a mysterious 30 million dollars that did not come from donations nor revenue.

A&M claims they had money saved up.....

That means you just hired Mike Sherman.

Case in point (2011 season).

Oklahoma State game: 20-3 halftime lead, nearly 300 yards rushing. Gray and Michael had 4 combined carries in the second half.

Arkansas game: 35-17 halftime lead. Christine Michael had almost 250 yards rushing AT HALFTIME. 2 carries the entire second half.

Missouri game: 28-17 4th quarter lead. Averaging 9 yards per carry. 3 run plays the entire fourth quarter.

Kansas State game: Cyrus Gray had nearly 200 yards rushing. 0 CARRIES IN OVERTIME.

Link to proof of inaccuracy? I'm pretty sure that's the same location you'll find the proof that I'm not an Army Major on Lewis-McChord.

Well A&M has taken control of running the state of Texas in every other way

Why is athletics an impossibility? We’ve been significantly better in all theee major sports for 5 years in a row now

6-6 record vs weakest big 12 in 10 years

OSU OU WVU ISU are all pretty good.

Texas Tech isn’t even that bad for a 6-6 team. This is probably the strongest it’s been in a long time.

He had took a team that had 3 straight losing season and took them to 6-6, possibly 7-6
