The problem here is that if LSU doesn’t have the money to pay the contracted terms to the fired coach do they have the money to pay NIL, and will they renege like they did with that coach ?

I won't completely disagree, and I love kicking dirt on LSU, but Pruitt sued Tenner and it didn't stop them from making a decent hire.

Lol…The LSU fanbase self delusion has no limits. You are not an “elite” coaching position. You cannot afford a top coach even if he were interested. The only way a top coach goes to LSU is with a BK range contract. Given LSU/BK ongoing fiasco, LSU will have to pay a huge amount upfront or have an absolute iron clad buyout written by the agent of the coach. . When you have a bad credit history, the down payment or interest costs are much higher. LSU has been the biggest shite show in college football history. It is what it is.

Technically a student dropout realtor who BK's wife used to buy their house. Still wrapped up in LSU. Still falls under the moral clause of contract. However I don't believe LSU can win the lawsuit and we'll just pay more to make it go away. It's a lose lose situation.

This could completely blow up in the face of LSU if Mrs Kelly gets out in front of it (either because she completely stands behind BK or because she knows half of that money is hers). She comes out and says "Brian and I have addressed this difficult time in our marriage and have been doing everything we can to work through it. I had asked that the LSU athletic department allow us to work though our private matters in private but they have unfortunately decided to use an extremely painful moment in our marriage as a point of leverage in negotiation".
Would look absolutely terrible.

What exactly have you done to help LSU accomplish anything? Buy some tickets for their games, get drunk and spend the bulk of your fandom whining about the refs? Does that make you the authority?
