I think Mallet gets his yards maybe 250 plus and we still win. What I would not want to happen is if they are able to run the ball. I think this game goes down to the wire like most games Les coaches in. I do think we win a close one.

Lsu's strength is pass defense and pro style running defense. Also msu put up a ton of points and yards using a scrambling qb. Purely by matching strengths and weaknesses, lsu should have the edge. I don't get when ppl say 'well it's a 3 point line for the home team so it's basically a pickem'. No it means the teams are an even matchup and the home team will probably win cuz the home team usually does when even teams are matched up. Vegas thinks number 12 Arkansas is as good as number 5 lsu on a neutral field.

And FYI Arkansas has covered the spread like 8/10 times this year so Vegas generally underestimates Arkansas.

Historically, LSU has had trouble holding Petrino's offense to under 30 points. Our offense is better than last year and is MUCH better than our last meeting in LR when a bad 4-7 Ark team STILL scored 31 points.
Should be an EXCITING game! It might be hard on you to take the Hogs and give the points, so if you can't stomach doing that, you might want to take the Over.

Because both the teams are considered to be equal, and the home field is worth 3 points so the home team is favored, but both teams have a fairly good shot at winning. Either way IMO anything less than 6 points is a Pickem to me. One play can make or break a game.

Vegas only tries to predict how people will bet...they try to have an equal number of bets on both sides of the spread. Thus the line moving when it gets too heavy on one side. They losers pay the winners and they make theirs off the juice. They dont care who wins. In no way shape or form is the spread and indication of who vegas thinks will win

You won't disable or shut down our offense. It just isn't going to happen.
You will more than likely slow it, but the question is, can your offense score enough to offset it?
Only way to kill Mallett AND slow us down is if your DLine dominates our Oline.
