No troll attempt here but I didn't follow NCAA football until 2002... What was LSU football like before Saban and Miles?

Well the 80s has some highs and some lows. The 90s had Kevin Faulk and a lot of losing seasons. Then 2000 happened and Saban started utilizing all the talent Dinardo brought in and then kept bringing in more talent. Miles stabilized.

For some reason, fans on here seem to think that LSU before Saban was South Carolina.

They weren't. They just had a really bad decade.

Is that when you started remembering things and discovered the world? Me too but more like 2000. I have been blessed with always watching my Tigers be a force to not take so lightly.

It's been a tough 3 years..

Won two national championships in 1908 and 1958. Heisman winner in Billy Cannon. Pretty neat stuff.

We randomly knocked off various SEC teams while losing a lot.

So they printed shirts for insignificant wins, lost to crap teams, hung SEC West banners in Tiger stadium and still struggled to beat Bama.

because the rant is stupid. the early 90s and late 90s were terrible. we were good 95-97

before that we were a good team just hadn't broke through for a title in a while

They beat 1993 Bama. That was a huge upset.
