Expanding to 12 teams might be the only way Clemson makes it in.

UGA has been vastly overrated for decades.

How does t feel to be beaten regularly by a "vastly overrated team"?

If you have the best program in the country how do you become overrated? And...after having the best program in the country "it's nothing"?

I meant after UGA in the SEC there's nobody that can really say they deserve to be in the playoffs anymore than any other team.

Clemson has struggled with sub par competition yes...

So has Tennessee, so has Alabama, so has LSU....

Alabama is the only program that has sustained elite status in the SEC.

UGA is a newcomer. Ya'll did less with more than any other program the last decade or so.

Tennessee hasn't been relevant since the late 90's.

Clemson would be second tier in the SEC.

That's semi fair. I still think Tennessee is probably one fo the 4 beat teams in the country, though. If i had to guess I would probably peg them at either 3 or 4.

And yet they all three played each other. So each had at least 2 really tough games.

Alabama and LSU also played a 2 loss Ole Miss team. (Beaten by LSU and Alabama.
Tennessee had Alabama, Georgia AND LSU, so I think it is a stretch to say those three suffered from a weaker schedule.

Who in the country has played a tougher schedule?
I'll have a serious conversation with you devoid of trolling and calling names, if that's what you would like

What is the criteria for elite status? Are you talking about for an extended period of time?

If Georgia has not, then who has other than Alabama.

In the last 5 years Georgia has played for two National Championships and won one. We are headed to the playoffs again and have a decent chance of winning our second straight.

Then I am guessing you would concede that Clemson is not elite?
If you do consider Clemson elite, then I will ask again what the criteria is to be considered elite.

That tells me there are A LOT of teams that could compete in the SEC. No reason for the bias we're seeing for these teams in the polls. Tennessee went to OT with Pitt. Alabama barely beat an unranked Texas. Thank god we will have a legitimate playoff in a couple years.

Just chill out….and be happy you don’t have to compete in the SEC.

You have a baked-in conference championship every year….and you should have an easier run to the playoffs. Enjoy it

But, LSU did win by more points than Liberty did right? Haha!

All BS aside, an SEC win is an SEC win. ARKY always plays LSU tough.
