ESPN put you in the rematch. The game just ended with "Les, great victory, what do you say about a rematch?"

If you don't understand that...then no arguement will work for a hard headed arrogant Alabama fan.

You lost at home and fell 1 lousy spot in the polls with 5 weeks to go in the season...

Last I checked, LSU only lost one spot after losing to Alabama.

Exactly. No one from the West coast wants to watch another defensive game. I love them. Each to his own

Um, no. Bama had to hope and pray other teams lost to make it to the big game.

I'm sure you think they made Standford and Okie Light throw their games?

I've been bitter about it since it happened.

LSU went undefeated, and still had to play a division opponent again for the National title

It sucked!

It sucked for LSU but it was the greatest news for Alabama...

Awesome. Hold onto this stat during the offseason, it'll help console you.

USC and Oregon > Georgia Southern and Auburn

OU, Baylor A$M > Georgia Southern, MSU , Aurburn

Again, Stanford, and OSU had to be perfect (undefeated!!) while Alabama didn't

This is funny, even if you're an Updyke/Downing.

Jesus, Alabama is the champ. Get over it.

LSU didn't want to play Alabama again.

It wasn't fair that they should have had to, and many talking heads and college fans I know said as much repeatedly... Not many people liked the rematch.

I know I know, its all over now.

I just think that's the real underlying issue of such a lopsided game.

Alabama wanted to play LSU badly, and LSU would have much preferred to play Alabama next year in BR.

Alabama didn't recieve any real consequences from losing at home to a division rival that went undefeated.

LSU coaches and players could never admit these feelings in the public eye(as if they had a choice anyways), but if I am an LSU player, why would I want to play Alabama a 2nd time for all the marbles?

LSU played in the SEC championship game (an extra game), While Alabama sat at home fueling their fire.

Alabama won fairly, but the game should have never been played...

When I am old, that's my story

Any team Nick Saban-coached team will be perceived to be a rival to LSU fans. It has nothing to do with Bama and everthing to do with Saban IMO.

Being mad does not make a rivalry. There is no doubt that going into the Championship that LSU was the number one team in the nation. Coming out of that game it was obvious that LSU was not the number one team in the nation.

We (Alabama fans) did not vote for ourselves to be in the game. We merely acted out our part in the script as written by the BCS.

You continue to refer to Alabama fans as "Gumps" and such yet you slam me for being immature??? Come on man...it's Football not life!

I'm not sure if this is a joke or not. I guess u think we should have fallen out of the top ten behind the two loss teams after losing in overtime to a top 3 team. A game that I thought we played better than the scoreboard indicated. Then in the coming weeks when teams in front us lost I guess we should have moved back with them instead of climbing ahead?

I think several Alabama fans on this board have an arrogance and tone that is disrespectful to LSU, it's posters, and its accomplishments.

USC wasn't eligible for a bowl game and Oregon had already lost to LSU earlier in the season. These are moot points.

Georgia Southern was their OOC cupcake game. Much like Northwestern State, and Western Kentucky for y'all.

MSU and Auburn is also a moot point. Every SEC West team has to play these two teams.

Blame the system...which is the BCS, not ESPN.

Sort of like how you're disrespecting Alabama's accomplishments and posters?

and some LSU posters were that way towards Alabama after 11/5.

It's easy to be a "bad-arse" when you're behind a keyboard.
