I would happily not have a trophy for this or the golden boot game. Keep that regular season trophy shite in the big ten

At least the trophy is decent looking, makes some sense.
I'm not even sure why the Ole Miss/LSU series is called the Magnolia Bowl, since (a) no one really calls the game that and (b) Mississippi is more associated with magnolias.

The state flower for both states is the Magnolia, but I agree, I dont know why that was chosen as the name of the game.
There are dozens of things LA and MS have in common that could be used to name the game: The lowest in Education Bowl, The most Welfare Bowl, The Obesity Bowl, etc
