This is unfortunately likely true.
I was butt hurt in 2021 but felt that that team could really
Win it all.
This years Georgia is a very good top 5-10 team but it’s hard to see that offense working 3x straight against other top 5-10 teams

It was a profoundly bad loss
Incredibly bad really

Agreed, we have yet to see what LSU can do against a good defense.
Do you consider the Bama defense good?
They are good until after we beat them then they are bad

I would bet on Georgia before OM or LSU.

Georgia can definitely make a run.
But yes.... Ole Miss and LSU are pretty much the only other teams in the SEC with a shot.

Georgia can definitely make a run.
But there’s something off about their offense and has been past few years which is why they haven’t won a game in the 12 team era

Look at the losses of lsu and ole miss, how they loss and give your opinion on who is at risk the most.
Lsu lost to ole miss good close game
Lsu lost to Kentucky well you know how that ended
Ole miss blown out by Florida
Lost to texas .Will M. Showed how to stop OM
If only LSU could play OM again.
They are 2 different teams now
Now look at the teams they have beaten. Ole Miss beat a good LSU team, Ole Miss beat a good Missouri team. LSU beat ........
Beat someone with a pulse first.

Also, to count out UGA and Bama is just stupid. Those 2 teams just always find a way to win. Not so much for Bama since Saban left, but that defense can carry them.
We all know in a close game Leavitt will choke, just have to make sure it's a 1 or 2 score game in the 4th.

LSU needs a win against UT or Bama, and not drop the ball against Tenn.
If we do that we will have one pretty good win in the books. Look, I have seen LSU struggle against bad teams in the past, at least we are looking dominant when we should.....the UK loss was just bad, no matter how you slice it.

Ole Miss is the only SEC team to advance further than UGA in the 12 team playoff. The SEC has a pretty abysmal record in the playoff thus far.

Georgia has the defense to make it but that offense isn’t going to cut it
As a UGA fan I will go even further. I am not confident that UGA is a playoff team. UGA has issues on offense and special teams. 2/3s of the team is not playing at an elite level and in the case of special teams it is bordering on bad. This is being very critical BUT winning a natty takes an elite effort in all phases or an even higher level to mask shortcomings in other areas. UGAs defense is not good enough to cover up the shortcomings of the offense and special teams. Both could improve and UGA could win a natty but the season is 75% complete, improvement is unlikely and we are down to remaining healthy in CFB. The caveat is there doesn't appear to be an elite team but there are a bunch who haven't played the physical schedule an SEC team will have played....and when you aren't elite in all 3 phases of the game or not better than elite to mask shortcomings, as it appears everyone is, being healthy is the only difference between a bowl team and a natty winner...and being healthy is going to be an issue for everyone in the SEC.

The race is wide open.
Its going to come down to depth and SEC teams are going to be at a disadvantage after the regular season. It isn't about season ending injuries, it is about losing a 10th of a step....and everyone in the SEC is going to be more beat up than anyone from the BIG10, ACC, BIG12 or ND.
