This sounds eerily familiar to what we said a couple years ago on the pass to JJ when our No. 1 corner was out of the game..hmmm..

quote:

ETA: LSU was 11th overall, averaging 18.2 points allowed. You lost your defensive leader, your best corner, and your best d-lineman.

We have a solid starter coming back at DT(Brockers), and one that is seasoned(Downs)..A couple starters at DE(Edwards and Adams)..also we return our most explosive pass rusher at DE(Montgomery) along with several talented guys to back them up..

We return arguably our most dynamic cornerback in Matheiu(made more big plays than peterson..as a FRESHMAN), another veteran all-sec corner(Claiborne), a starting safety(B.Taylor), with two talented safeties(Reid and Loston),a starting outside linebacker(Francois), and the leading tackler on our team at linebacker(Baker)

We lost some good players, but we are still loaded..Anyone who believes otherwise is just blatantly oblivious to reality

Come game day the advantages will be to the team who's suffered the least attrition on the D-Line.

Unfortunately I think LSU's young/thin DTs and inexperienced MLB will allow Bama to establish the run better than LSU.

Plus Bama doesn't have to worry about getting called for holding.

LSU has the edge on DB's Disagree

what, you think a tie?

What are you stupid? It is obvious that bama has the better DBs. After all, Claiborne was just named All-SEC as a sophomore and all Mathieu did was get named Freshman All-SEC, Freshman All-American, and defensive MVP of the Cotton Bowl. Lame.

Why are we even talking about this? Bama>>>LSU

Personally I think Bama will have two 1st round DBs, so LSU doesn't have the edge there, but we will see.

Biggest question mark for me is the offensive line. A good offensive line will make a bad QB look good and a good RB look great.

Dline - LSU

LB - UA

DBs - Tie

RB - UA (Obvious)

Dude, if you dont throw piss balloons at the elderly and yell profanties at toddlers, you simply aren't emotionally invested in you're team.

How does LSU have the advantage at DB?
How is the running game a tie?

exactly if the line is good it elevates the talent. if the line sucks dick then all the talent in the world can't help you when that talent is on its arse or rushed to make decisions.

yall have the edge to start the year.

the good thing is in 18 days this thread will be nothing but a meaningless preseason shitfest. 18 days facts will be laid out instead of preseason dick measuring to what each team is suppose to have.
