MSU with 2 garbage TDs in the 4th. Tigers cover and cruise by halftime.

Give the 17.5.

You're welcome.

I will be disappointed if they score 24 points on us.

LSU will have reality check this game. You don't lose what LSU loses and come out without missing a beat.

LSU wins, but they struggle to do so.

LSU 34
State 28

We had less returning experience coming into 2019 at the skill positions. The only player that really played regularly was Jefferson. The OL will be the key.

This could be true or you could have a close LSU win and an upset by State is not out of the question either.

It is the first game of what is going be a weird year. Home field advantage will not be what it usually is.

LSU may very well have a great team this year but it may take them a few games to gel.

You don’t lose what they lost and just chug along with no ripples.

If the game is played it could be one of the more entertaining games if Week 1.

We will see.

TBH. I think your O struggles a lil bit.

Leach system will take awhile.
Hardly any of your players will be used to passing 80 percent of the time.

MSU has always been a run first team for years now.

Even Costello was ina run first system.
Pretty sure he had the Bryce love kid. And Mcaffery.

Except I don’t think we will throw the ball 80% of the time this year. Leach is smart enough to adjust/tweak his system to fit his personnel.

In future yes, but this year I think he will play to the strengths of this team and will temper the wide open attack just a bit.

However we will see what happens.

How long do you think Costello was at Stanford?

This is my thinking as well combined with the absurd amount of talent LSU had on defense. IMO LSU, State and Ole Miss really need a couple of games to get going on offense. Playing a defense with the talent that LSU has isn't really what State wants to be seeing in week 1.

I have no clue.
I just guessed I thought 2-3 years?
I remember him being the starter for atleast 2.

Brennan is gonna go off. Chase, Marshall, Mcmath, "Megatron" Gilbert... Y'all been warned.

Mississippi State has blown out LSU twice in recent memory

It seems the Tiigers are still salty from the wounds

I'm way less concerned about a 4th year Elite 11 finalist than I am protecting him. Brennan could be amazing, but if he doesn't get protection or a running game, that's a problem. He's fairly mobile, but not like Burrow. Our backs our very talented, but aren't as elusive as Edwards-Helaire. CEH and Burrow made our OL look a lot better than they actually played last year.

This is a totally unknown game.

You guys act like you returned last year's team and coaches.

Your offense is brand new... and facing a defense its never prepared for.

I won't be shocked if they beat you by 10
