That score is not very likely. If LSU starts a shootout to get to 51, Leach will have a field day.

I’m less worried about LSU-style offense and more worried about Malzahn (assuming he even has a good team).

The offense is in no way going to be brand new.

If anyone wonders whether the loss of a Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback, first-round draft choices at wide receiver and tailback and the driving force behind the changes in LSU’s record-setting 2019 offense would have the Tigers reverting back to their once plodding offensive ways, Steve Ensminger has answer for you:

No.

“We’re not changing now,” LSU’s offensive coordinator said Monday night on the school’s in-house radio program, “LSU Sixty.” “We found what fits us. If we tweak it, it will be to try to make us better.”

Need a list of reasons??

1- Brenda will being running all day. For his life. The 3-3-5 is a defense that is hard to prepare for. The blitzes are hard to find and your OL is new and not 1 person on it has ever had to face a 3-3-5.

2- you are fooling yourself thinking that Leach won't produce offense. Just no. Hebis not landing at a school with no talent and rebuilding.

3- the RBs will kill your limping LBs.

Has anyone ever read Mummes or Leachs book on the Air Raid?

It is tremendously easy to implement. There are like six base plays. State will be able to run it. Way more concern with State moving to a 3-3-5 defense rather than the offense getting it.

Blake Barnett won the Elite 11 and was a total bust for Alabama. I don't put much stock into that to be honest.

It's going to be a somewhat large drop at the position.

The only bonus is I think these offenses being run seem super easy to learn and doesn't take a ton of talent to be successful. Exhibit A: Mac Jones.

Ensminger is the QB coach. Brady coaches receivers.

Buddy says that Leach is running high paced and volume passing at practice.

The secondary should have a lot of reps prior to the season.

14 of MSU’s points will come in garbage time in typical Leach fashion.

Yeah but we are shallow. A lot of reps doesn't mean garbage and we are down one too. Our only hope is our DL getting pressure and our offense getting big plays
