Good thing I’m an Alabama alum and football fan, and not a fan of any nfl team. This is the stupidest thing I’ve seen in a while. Comparing college teams based on what they’re doing in the NFL is dumb as shite.

s it though? You clearly didn’t watch the Bengals win today.
Yes it is. Some anomaly doesn’t change that.

LSU fans can argue until they are blue in the face, but that Alabama team had comparable offensive stats to the 2019 LSU squad. The 2020 Alabama defense was better than the 2019 LSU defense - especially by the end of the year. That doesn't mean that 2020 Alabama was better, it just means that they are within the same conversation.
It's truly Alabama fans that argue about it because they're mad that 2019 LSU beat them and had the best season ever. But your post is crimson tinted glasses for sure. The LSU defense at the end of the year in 2019 was phenomenal. The LSU offense was much better than 2020 Bama. Blowing out an 8 win Ohio state is something though.

Not really...
2019 LSU PPG: 48.4 PPG
2020 Alabama PPG: 48.5 PPG
2019 LSU YPG: 568.4 YPG
2020 Alabama YPG: 541.6 YPG

LSU 2019 over Bama 2020 based on the NFL....
Anyone with even the slightest of intelligence won't argue with this.
There's 2 people with no intelligence.

Best offense I’ve ever seen. Scored on 9 out of 11 possessions against OU in the playoffs with the 11th possession being a mercy knee.
It was an awesome year. I doubt we will ever see anything like it again

Your question poses 1 argument but your stats make a different argument.
One is a college-level discussion and the other is how those college players fair in the pros.

Dirty little secret: Bama 2019 was better than Bama 2020. The 2020 team just never had to face the challenges of the 2019 version.
Very True. The 19 team was much better.

No. This literally has only been said by LSU fans who can't move on from 2019.

Offensively, yes. 2020 defense was able to come through in a way that 2019 defense did not

Probably true since if Tua wasnt hurt Bama would have won.

Tua was 100% healthy for that game, according to Nick Saban. You shouldn’t call Saban a liar.

The 2019 LSU team will only get better in people’s eyes as years go on because of the careers of burrow, chase, and Jefferson.
It’s hard to compare teams but the NFL stardom on that LSU team is abundant and it’s opinion from people will improve year after year as their NFL careers escalate.
