Will looking ahead cause the LSU football team to play bad? Lol

Wanna know who talks about "next year" before the NC?
fricking losers, that's who.

I think the team with the most experience in big games plays a factor.

Clemson fans are terrified that their precious little team is going to be exposed as nothing more than a good team from a bad conference.

What is the point for a Clemson person to post this.
I assume it is because you expect to lose.
Bama will not beat LSU in Baton Rouge next year. LSU has tough road games at Auburn and at Florida and ends away at Texas AM.
LSU will be better on the line of scrimmage next year. No one will replace Burrow. Myles Brennan will play very well.
The running backs will,be better. The WR s will be back. TE improved.
The Bama advantage with having 20 analysts is gone.
Of course we do not have a Clemson cupcake schedule.

I don't think LSU will make it back next year, but do you think LSU ever makes it back?
Maybe you should go back to 2012 and ask your younger self that question after Clemson beat the REAL Tigers in the Chicken bowl by one point.
That, arguably, was the beginning of Clemson's ascent. Prior to that, nobody would have given your team any notice whatsoever in the title discussion.
Regardless of who wins the NCG (Geaux Tigers!), who's to say this isn't the beginning of LSU's ascent?
If I had to point to one thing that's held LSU back over the last decade, the answer is too easy: QB play and offensive strategy. We've always recruited well, and have usually had the right pieces in place to be very good. However, Les would never move past the 3-yards-and-a-cloud-of-dust mentality of his youth, and squandered the chances of taking the team from "good" to "great".
What's changed now? Just one thing: the offense.
Coach O, Coach E and Coach Brady have made the final change every LSU fan has been begging for over the last 10 years - and this year you see the result.
The missing piece is now in place.
Does that mean every year going forward will be this magical? Probably not. But the odds of staying at or near the top are SIGNIFICANTLY better now that we have a modern offense.
Oh, and before anyone starts in with the "well, Joe Brady is leaving LSU for <...insert NFL or CFB team here...>:
The change has been made. For good or ill, whether Brady stays or goes, the offense will NEVER go back to the caveman-throwing-rocks days. That's all that was missing, and it'll be here next year (with or without Brady).
Couple that new offensive mindset with the things that LSU has historically excelled at, well, let's just say that I like our chances...
Just my two pennies-worth of thoughts....

Well you’d be wrong. We have multiple former LSU players who post on the various boards on this site.

You do realize 2 out of the 3 receivers are back next year and one of them is the Biletnikoff winner....defensively Tigahs will be even better.

Oh yeah it doesn't surprise me that a bunch of LSU fan boys claim to have played for LSU on an anonymous message board lol

They haven't been in a national championship. And I'm not talking about LSU, I'm talking about these players
Unlike Clemson this year, LSU has been in a series of mega games with major consequences at home and on the road. They've played 6 teams who were in the top 10 at the time of the games. They won't be intimidated.
We play on the big stage frequently as opposed to those ACC patsies you play week after week.
