This thread is riddled with insecurity. Last week we melted over losing to Florida, This week LSU celebrates beating Georgia, next week we either melt over a loss to a inferior program, or look forward to Bama coming off a win.

Well they want to ignore their awful performance against Vandy and continue talking about the game 2 weeks ago. Congrats, we gonna do this the rest of the season, or end of season when we look back on what was your biggest win by a significant margin?

Strange melt.
Is it bc Florida is ranked 12th and LSU 5th?
Florida just isn't respected, even after a close win over LSU, which is one of the best teams in the SEC and currently ranked 5th. Voters know it was a good win but Florida doesn't pass the smell or eye test, that's why they aren't ranked higher and they shouldn't be...kinda seen as a fluke game, broken watch is right twice a day. Maybe after a few more years of better recruiting and playing better football they will be, but I doubt it.

How is it delusional for their fans to enjoy the ranking/be excited that their team is good?
That’s what the game is all about!
It’s even more exciting, knowing that most folks wanted to tear down their coach, for no reason other than his idiosyncratic cultural ways.
I think we’d all be better off as fan bases if we didn’t view the success of other teams as deficiencies in our own.

Mullen had to call every trick play in his book to win against us, MS State, and Vandy. That should tell you something but I’m sure it doesn’t. I’m sure you think Florida is winning a national championship this year.
