Yeah but this is not really that. He's picking his son's team because it's his damn son.

Little hard to sell that off as "no one believes in us."

Exactly.
I thought Sylvester the Cat died a couple years ago.
Did he ever get the Tweety Bird?

It is his son's team! Anyway Lou has always been negative towards LSU, he hates LSU for what happened to Bo Rein.

Yes he did. But granny clubbed him with her umbrella and he spit out the bird. Some say this is what led to his demise.

2 questions:

How far away from his face do you think he holds his phone when on Twitter?

How long do you think it takes him to tweet something with that many characters?

He's right about Tech finding ways to lose on the last play the last two years.

However, those games were the Brett's Arkansas (better than now but still blegh) and South Carolina before they picked up steam last year. This is LSU we're talking about. An actual defense that may have finally found a complementary offense to boot.

Still funny about "upset is what my wife would be."

Tbf starting QB was suspended vs Arkansas. The supposed 2nd string coming out of spring had been slightly injured, and the third string had worked his way into becoming the #2 by the time the game came around.

Starting QB Higgins would've made a difference with both Trent Taylor and Henderson healthy in that game. As well as the usually consistent FG kicker Barnes not missing 2 FGs (one hit the uprights).

Lou Holtz was over the hill 15 years ago. No one gives a shite what he thinks.

It's not surprising that La Tech almost beat Arkansas and Scar, but it would be very surprising if La Tech even hung in the game with LSU

Burrow better watch out for Kollin Hurt at Safety. He's legit.

LSU has to come to play and make LA Tech understand early that they can't win the game. If they take the field full of themselves because they won last week then they'er just making it hard on themselves. It is natural to have a letdown. Expect the unexpected.

And he literally explains it as the reason he’s picking them in the tweet yet people still missing it in the thread.

The reason he was so upset about it was because Mrs. Beth was on the bus and she heard and saw everything. It was bad enough that Skip called that following Monday and apologized ... but in retrospect all I can do is laugh, it was epic, although a little overboard.

Awesome, in the words of my coach, fr@ck them! No piss balloons, do not wanna hear it!!!

Plus their QB is prone to throwing INT's.
