SEC players don’t give a shite about non major bowl games. It’s a disappointment. Opposition teams see this as an opportunity to take down a member of the most prestigious football conference in CFB and shite like this happens. Coach Saban predicted this 7 years ago. This is the new normal as the bowl system continues its death rattle.

I think MSU will beat Texas Tech.
I'm obviously a Baylor fan and am not sure how to think about the Sugar Bowl. I think it will be one of the better bowl games barring some unforeseen off-the-field issue or injury.

Unlikely but the SEC will do well to go 6-6 (with A&M cancelation) with so many lopsided matchups.
The only bowl games where the SEC team is even close to comparable to their opponent as far as how they compare within their league vs the opponent in their respective league are Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, Arkansas, UK, and Tennessee. The other 6 SEC teams are in bowl games where they are playing opponents who finished way higher in their respective leagues.
So far Missouri and UF (AT BEST the 9th and 10th best SEC team played their bowl games against the AAC's 3rd best team and against the 3rd or 4th best Independent.
