yup, pell grant is 5500 a year. ETA, it is really only to be used for education purposes and you can get in trouble if not and have to pay it back. you actually have to sign a statement saying so

Like room and board? that is what schollys are for. I am pretty sure, not 100%, that they cannot get student loans on top of their athletic scholly

I had scholarships to UCLA and I was still able to get student loans. Also, several of the players I worked with had full schollys and still got student loans...it was based of their income and their parents income.

I think that was Julio's mom. But it does make the story sound better if she works at KFC. Maybe Nico's mom works at KFC too. Is Alabama getting the moms of star players jobs at KFC?
