does texas a&m run through the sec west and get a sec championship and national championship? lsu bama georgia and florida will be breaking in new quarterbacks. they will probably gain depth in the two years of sec play...i think it is not only possible, but likely.

Ole Miss will make a good run next year and just screw up going to Atlanta by 1 game. The next year, we're going to Atlanta and then the National Championship.

Not, but if Cyrus wants to stay for a Senior season and Leon Brown develops well Bama could....I can dream.

Winning is a new concept for this team. Once we get more comfortable with beating teams as well as have alot more talent on the field, then we'll be a major contender in the SEC. Ole Miss' recruiting class this year is looking to be dank as hell.

With a Heisman-winning media darling and a video-game-style offense, they'll be the early favorites to win it.

But old man football still wins the SEC. With Bama's schedule, they'll win the West again in '13.

which he wont. he has no reason to leave early considering he will never be a 1st day draft pick because of his size and his arm

No.

...and I see no similarities to A&M's season to ANY season MSU has ever had.

Dan Mullen hasn't gotten the respect out of anyone ever really. He clearly had a huge Napoleon complex that matched the fanbase and exploited it. He's talked a huge game, but Dan has gotten slammed by almost every semi-decent opponent in his 4 years. The only team worth a shite that he's beaten is a 2009 Ole Miss team. Nutt left Ole Miss in a much worse condition than Croom did State, and Dan still hasn't produced any great results yet and no one still gives a damn about MSU.

The reason why basically the entire board was rooting for us against State is that we've earned respect and haven't talked a big game, unlike State. Aside from Texas, we played every team well on our schedule, but didn't have the talent to finish and our team at this point doesn't really know how to secure a victory. Our biggest enemies right now are ourselves, and if we can overcome the Ole Miss mentality, then I expect we can do truly great things.

Am I crazy to think that this year will be Manziel's best year?? I mean knowing how he runs the offense, wouldn't the best d-coordinators know how to better attack his style of play?? Don't get me wrong, he is an excellent QB, and has really showed his athletic ability in extending plays and running the football. I know you won't be able to shut him down, but containing and making JM throw consistently to beat you seems like a better alternative. I'm kinda thinking like the Gus Malzhan run, the first time teams played that system, that offense was hard to play against...then when teams catch on to what you do, the best defenses can better gameplan for success.

I think this is nothing but a reasonable assumption and a possibility yes, but you also have to take into consideration that Kingsbury and Sumlin will not be static and are going to consider this too and will be developing JFF's passing game, which is not shabby at all now. This along with his running threat is what makes him hard to defend.

Making JFF make mistakes is the key.
