Aubie is one of a few Major Schools that have an Under Armor Contract, you guys might want to pay attention to the way they treated UCLA

IMO UCLA played their schedule stayed away from negative press and Controversy, other than that I'm not sure how a P5 Program can fail to live up to "marketing benefits" as an Athl Dept

Sounds like a contrived way to renege on a deal since many Retail Entities are taking on losses due to CV19

Under Armor Stiffs UCLA on $280 Million Contract

I prefer the look of Auburn's old Russell uniforms anyway, but Russell is deader than dead these days.

UA won't piss off Auburn, they've got to be the biggest college football program to wear UA. Everyone else is Nike, it seems.

Under Armour is broke and the fan apparel sucks. Don’t care.

The team apparel always looks pretty good but I can never find to buy.

As long as Nike keeps losing money because of all the "woke" Kap supporters, I'm good.

We are also UA. Wouldn't hurt our feelings any to get out of that contract.

Both plants for Russell are well maintained and empty right now ...Import a few hundred Chinese without the virus and they are good to go.

Are there any more one second rule changes little nicki wants before the season starts?

Waiting to see him throw a fit on a clock stoppage with 2 seconds to go on a live ball play. Clock run off and game over ...

UCLA wasn’t worthy of the contract. Most wasted potential in all of athletic departments. .

FB & MBB have hit a dry spell, but don't they do well in that overall award they give for Athl Depts for all Sports?

Their MBB used to be a Tourney regular, their overall Athl Dept never seemed overrated to me

The UA contract with UA was a bad decision for the company. What has UCLA done lately? The only people who see them are on the West Coast , when 90% of the country is already asleep. UA got a bargain with their AU contract.

PS- Does GT still use Russell? Most of Russells products are from the sweat of 12 year olds.

GT is in the 2nd year of a long term deal with Adidas

Tech made a mistake of holding on to Russell too long due to GT Alums being high ranked execs within the Russell Corporation

GT is one of those places where the Athl Dept tries so hard to be smart they end up doing stupid stuff, for example GT stayed too long with Russell because they failed to understand how important "gear & swag" is among Today's Athletes, they just didn't believe a Recruit would choose a Nike School over a UA school for example, this moreso in MBB than in FB

This is rich coming from a school with a brand for a soccer apparel company.

Hey race-baiter, aren’t there any forums for bottom-feeding ACC schools?

GT has bigger problems than their apparel contract. They stayed with Russell because Benjamin Russell Family contributed a lot of money to the School. They are actually a bigger underachiever than UGA, in a sense that they play in the ACC and have one of the best recruiting backyards in the country.

id rather get away from a company that cant write checks....frick what Nike says it speaks to athletes. if it helps just one iota its a win. if i have to see one more of our athletes never shite on the shoes again ill be happy. we only resigned cause ray got a cut....so take your politics to the poli board.

The new MLB jerseys were supposed to be UA but then they pulled out of their deal and Nike moved in.

I don't really care enough about the athletic apparel business to keep up with the details, but that was strange to me. There are 2,592 scheduled MLB games each season plus the playoffs. That's a lot of screen time for a logo.

Maybe UA got too far away from their core business when they started getting into sports other that football, I don't know... Those old UA commercials with the Click Clack and Steve Spurrier were bad arse.

Their running shoes were crappy at the beginning but they started poaching designers from Nike. Their racings spikes have been pretty good, but I wouldn't use their trainers.
We are an Under Armor school at the high school level and I love their warmups and joggers.

Won't matter if the company's finances are a wreck, which appears to be the case.
