The fact that just being in 6 in a row gets us in the top 10 (tied for 7th) shows how volatile the sport has been in, considering how many teams make it.

Not only that, but 4 of those 6 appearances for Alabama have been at least a Sweet 16 or better. If they make the Sweet 16 again this year, that's 5 out of the last 6. Oats is the man. His OOC scheduling has also been brutal so these are not easy schedules he's playing to get there.

Considering 68 teams get into the tournament every year, it is absolutely wild to me that only four teams in the country have double-digit participation streaks.
