The Iron Bowl would likely be more lopsided, when you consider how good Alabama was during the years that it was on hiatus.
Average record for Alabama, 1908 - 1947:
7-1.9-1.3
Average record for Auburn:
5-3.5-1.3

Alabama .500 or lower seasons:
1
Auburn .500 or lower seasons:
15

38 potential seasons (Alabama did not field a team in 1918, neither team fielded one in 1943). Presuming Alabama and Auburn split their winning seasons and each team losing during their losing/.500 seasons, would leave a 26-12 margin for Alabama

Or roughly 71-48 lead for Alabama.

Still more competitive than Bama’s 52-25 record against LSU.

Hilarious this is a permanent game and dictating other teams schedules.

Maybe our permanent game should be with Auburn. Seems like an easy win.

Subdivision teams are by definition weaker. There is no reason to include them. When you’re looking at Major League Baseball stays they don’t include minor league in overall team stats for a reason. But carry on if it makes you feel better

Take a day off from your melting. Bama winning the title again last year really did a number on you and Irons Puppet.
