From the Texas 247 board
“Former Texas pitching coach Frank Anderson, who is currently the pitching coach at Tennessee, has turned down an offer to return to Austin to work with Longhorn pitchers, two sources close to the situation told Horns247.
Anderson, who has a loaded starting pitching staff returning at Tennessee in rising junior righty Chase Dollander (10-0, 2.39 ERA) and rising sophomore righties Drew Beam (8-1, 2.72 ERA) and Chase Burns (8-2, 2.91 ERA), turned down the job offer on Tuesday morning, according to the sources.”

Let’s be honest, he wasn’t leaving the winningest team this decade.
