Cowboys Stadium.

The Florida/Michigan game begins at 5:30PM Eastern Time. It is highly unlikely that the game will be complete by the 9:00PM Eastern start time and even if so, the field and stadium could not be prepared in time.

Edit: Didn't know Tulane moved out of the dome.

Alamodome.

The Houston/UTSA game is already scheduled for 7PM Eastern Time. Without kicking UTSA out of their own stadium, this isn't happening.

Mercedes Benz Stadium.

Alabama/Florida State already occurring during that time.

This is why it'll be in Baton Rouge.

You do know Tulane doesn't play in the Superdome anymore, right?

Soooooooooooo why not just edit your whole troll attempt to just say...the Alamodome? Now that you have been aware that the tulane game isnt going to be played there??

Anyway...could delay BYUs fans travel mostly, but the game will be played.

More than likely it will be at the Superdome. New Orleans can pull this off in the blink of an eye! Just get it done!

Provo is also a potential place where the game could be played.

I'm no events planner and/or stadium manager, but I'd bet it would be awfully tough to have the stadium ready 48 hours after Michigan-Florida.

The super dome has already offered to be the venue. It will most likely be held there.

On a sidenote it is really refreshing working with a second party like BYU who is prepared and ready to get things done well ahead of game time.

Foley acted in the best interest of his university and their football team. The situations are completely different. That this situation is being handled in a different way should be no surprise and bitching about it makes lsu fans look silly.

Why can't they just play it at the Cotton Bowl? It'll be free next weekend and it has enough seats to accommodate everyone who bought a ticket.

This is true. Their offensive line was tore up. Plus their qb was hurt. Delaying the game was the plan. It's still not the right thing to do. Bitching about it is completely normal. Justified as well.
