Dabo refused to adapt to NIL and the transfer portal and it has negatively impacted their program more than any other I can think of.

Whether just to get the dig in or not, Lane kind of took a shot at their preparation.

Dabo's pride refuses to allow him to admit he is wrong about anything. He will never admit he was wrong about Nil, coaching hires .. anything.
Clempson is very deep in debt and he knows they can't get rid of him. It's enjoyable watching their fans have to deal with reality.

I know you hate me with a passion. But I upvoted you. Because I appreciate an LSU fan acknowledging that. Because this is what Lane is. An incredible offensive coach who can at times seem to see things other coaches and players can not see. But he is also petty, immature, and he is all about Lane. If he weren’t like that he truly would be elite. But he always leaves or self destructs

The 2 main reasons are the cost of operating their athletic department has gone up while revenue from donations are down millions. They see the SEC schools getting millions more every year then the ACC teams and that's why they want out. Unfortunately for them they waited to long and their value has diminished just like their football team
