Has anyone considered the TS break-ins are actually an strategic move by Miles to have his minions infiltrate TS and steal patches of grass?

I know 8 wins a year is acceptable at Arky but that doesn't cut it at LSU.

He wasn't fired because he couldn't recruit.

I happen to know he was offered an "ambassador" type role within the university and he turned it down saying something to the effect of I want to coach. He believed he would get a head gig.

Just a tip of the cap to the program that used to pay his salary.

Had they known they had to settle for lOl, he would probably still be their coach.

no he wasn't. it doesn't sound like like you have even rudimentary knowledge of the situation. he was given plenty of time to improve his offense and actually thought he was being fired the previous year. he refused to fire his OC and the offense did not improve or even change. his firing was justified. he was treated with dignity and respect during the entire process. what more can an organization fricking do? his job was to win football games and he didn't do that in his last 5 years.do you think fricking Kentucky would give a basketball coach 5 years?

Guy really loves the school and those kids. I'm not saying it wasn't time for a change but I think you guys should've gave him another spot on campus. Guy earned that much and you just threw him to the side.

Bookmarked for a year from now after you've run Bert, Jen and their Baby Huey out on a rail.

I'd take him as AD over Alleva any day. But the politics just didn't favor that kind of move.

Miles hadn't won anything significant in five years. He was rewarded for past accomplishments with his salary.

In 10 years or so, he can come back and see his name on the stadium or something like that. But it was time for him to go.

So would I but I'd also take a 7-year-old to be AD instead of Alleva. But Miles is not AD material.
