We absolutely had the horses to run with Miami in 2001.

Considering he’d have met Saban in the national title game anyway I don’t know if the number would be much different.

LSU doesn't claim championships that aren't won, got 3 in FB & 43 overall.. But if it makes you sleep better till September, when sports starts for Bama again, enjoy. Arky is the only SEC school with more total championships

1) Spurrier is definitely #1
2) Gene Stallings - cause Bama , I was in school in 92, at the game and because Bama
3) Les Miles - even though he inherited a Saban built program he was able to keep it going and win a NC at Ls8u. That's quite an accomplishment considering that programs history.
4) Phat Phil - I hate him and UT but he was a really good coach.
5) Dooley ... only one 1 and had Herschel Walker. That's just a travesty. If he was better that should be multiple titles but UGA gonna UGA.
6) Chiz- that doofus winning a NC is proof of how good Cam was in college.
