I believe we declared war against Iraq during the Gulf War.

Alabama's record against Oklahoma doesn't even register to me.

I have NO clue what it is.

Does it bother some of y'all older Alabama fans?

Actually, I'm joking about Oklahoma being shitty. Lol. I like it. It's beautiful in its own way.

Not joking about Alabama though.

I can help. You're 1-3-1 against Oklahoma.

Congress has authorized the use of force, but has not officially declared war since 1942

Accurate. I dunno why people keep saying congress declared war against Iraq. They did not. They authorized use of force.

That's some serious time between victories. Are you saying that Bama hasn't beaten Oklahoma since before 1964?

Well damn.

Haven't even played much. Were any of those losses of any consequence to the Crimson Tide?

If I had to choose one state to relocate to it would be New Mexico.

But that would only happen if you put a gun to my head. I live in the most beautiful area of the entire country, IMO.

Every loss is a loss of consequence. But your program was down for two of those losses due to NCAA issues. I wouldn't call that a bellweather for the series.

Since WWII, America has only declared 1 war, and that was on terrorism.

Thanks for the correction. I could have made a better thread title. I should have said, "list of wars the US has fought *in* since Alabama last beat Oklahoma."

Whether the congress declares war or not doesn't change the fact that in each of those cases the United States sent troops overseas to kill people.

Call it a policing action for all I care -- the point remains the same.

You're a dumbass, the last time we played Oklahoma was the 2014 Sugar Bowl, we have played them 3 times since 2002....3, you make it as though Alabama and Oklahoma meet up regularly and OU is just dominating when in reality we rarely play and only once have we played during Sabans tenure and OU actually had a defense then.

That sounds like a lot of excuses to me.

Just beat those West Arkansas Sooners this time, ok?

I know that le roy jordan beat the holy hell out of them to impress John Kennedy and know that Bama fell short the last time... but at the end of the day, the past is the past... and those who keep bringing it up hoping to rely on it to predict the future... well, pretty stupid.
The past does not equal the future and the team that can best deal with the clutter and is better prepared will win. Best of Luck Bama, kick their asses...for that day you become the winners
