Misssissippi State
South Carolina
Vanderbilt

Congrats to these SEC Powerhouses. Many SEC Teams should follow the lead of Vanderbilt with their 8-3-1 all time series lead

Hey, we beat them once in Austin and they never wanted the return trip. Bonus game program:

Perhaps Texas should agree to future OOCs with the SEC ....

They will never do so again with Mississippi State. Mississippi State defeated them twice in a home and home in the 1990s in Austin and Starkville. What a sweep

Texas had a losing season in 91 and was 6-5 in 92. Those were really bad teams.

For comparison, Arkansas and A&M also beat Texas in 91. We didn't play them in 92, but A&M beat them that year. Also worth mentioning that Arkansas wasn't very good in 91, either, but still beat Texas.

Alabama's absolutely pitiful all time record against those figs is definitely one of the low points of the program

Jackie Sherrill had a bull castrated on the practice field before 1 of those games. Ammirite?

UGA kept them from being national champions one year. What time is it in Dallas? 10-9!

Fun fact about our game:

We scored a pick 6 within 15 seconds of the game.
We were down 21-7 in the 4th.
We score 3 straight TD to win 27-21.
Future Gamecock AD King Dixon was on that team. He was the AD that shepherded us into the SEC.
It was Darrell Royal’s first season as the Longhorns head coach and that was the first loss of his career there.
