That last playoff game against us destroyed his mind. He's probably got PTSD from just the first half alone.

Lincoln Riley may be scared of the SEC, but USC's NEVER EVER been afraid to play the SEC or anyone else.
Alabama (6-2) and Florida (1-0-1) are the only SEC schools -- including Texas & Oklahoma -- that have a winning record vs. the Trojans.
Trojans don't back down from anyone. The USC admin are doing this at Riley's behest. Riley has something against the SEC and I can't seem to find out what it is.
USC is softer than baby shite.

Why did Alabama and Texas play their game? Because it was the second game in a home and home agreement? Spin it any way you want, Georgia still opted out of the game. It's not because Georgia is scared, it's because Sankey wants to keep the SEC in the best position to compete for playoff spots. Just like the decision to go with an 8 game conference schedule, it's in the best interest of the conference.

Um, I don’t wanna open with USC either. In fact I think it’s stupid as shite to schedule teams like that in our season opener, that’s how you lose 3 season openers in a row.
I’m sick of that shite.

Les Miles would be gnawing at the grass to get to that USC team. I remember when Chip Kelly's Oregon team thought that was a good idea. Turned out, the spread was dead.

Just stop. You think facts are going to stop people from posting what they want? It’s the rant.
You are 100% correct....at this point it is a sort of self-flagellation posting to these types of forums. Like that archaic and senseless act it is only practiced by those suffering from various and debilitating emotional issues to cleanse the mind for a moment lest we go screaming into a dark void of our own making....or we just enjoy being a smart arse anonymously. Either way it can't be healthy....

It seems like UGA had no choice in the matter. Can a team refuse to comply with a conference mandate? I seriously do not know the answer to that. I suspect they can't without some recourse on the part of the conference. If the can without recourse then yes, for whatever reason, UGA "ducked" OU. Given UGAs recent history of scheduling quality OOC games and the fact that UGA scheduled a series with OU it is hard to imagine UGA "ducking" OU without the conference being involved and having some leverage to encourage UGA "ducking" OU. I don't know anyone who is happy it happened....every UGA fan I know was excited about the matchup...almost as much anticipation as the ND series created.
Sankey has not been involved with the UGA/Clemson game this season. Not playing Clemson would slightly improve UGAs odds of making the playoffs yet that game is still on. UGA playing OU last year with a second year coach coming off a losing season would not have impacted UGAs odds of making the playoffs any more than playing Clemson this year yet Clemson is still on the schedule. I, and other than a small group of people, know what the OU game was cancelled but it happening because either team was scared is at the bottom of the list of reasons why....

What does that have to do with anything? I’m a fan, not a coach. I don’t speak for them and they don’t care a damn thing about what I think. For all I know, BK is stoked. He would definitely say that publicly at least. But I cannot imagine any coach being happy about playing USC as opposed to Grambling when they lost their first 2 season openers back to back.
Also, Les Miles might have *said* that in this position but he also said shite like “I’d be honored to play Bama in the title game” and we all knew he was full of crap. Neither LSU nor Bama, or their fans, wanted a rematch in 2011 regardless of what Bama fans will say in hindsight now.

This USC team? And you think your fan base would want 4 Gramlings on their OOC schedule instead of 3, regardless of when it's played? How the mighty have fallen.

When BAMA's name was called for the BCS rematch in 2011, BAMA fans were ecstatic and elated. We were better offensively in the first one, we just had lousy kickers. LSU had 2 field goal attempts in regulation. BAMA had 5. The rematch proved who had the better team.

No, I think one of our OOC teams should be at the beginning of the season and not in November. No one wants to watch that shite. I do not know what is so hard to understand about this. Let me know how you feel when Wisconsin shows the country just how big of a west coast pussy DeBoer is as well as his staff. That is, if you’re even still watching football when Bama starts out 1-2. 90% of Bama fans on this board never watched a game before 2009.

Of course Bama was elated for making the game, because they didn’t deserve to be there and got gifted a mulligan by the universe (common theme here). They were not elated because it was LSU. Stop lying and go turn your fat slobbering wife, it’s been a few hours. She’s gonna get a bed sore.

Then what are you whining about? If Kelly needs to play the Cripple Children's Institute to win an opening game you need another head coach and soon. This will help the powers that be to see what they have. Looks like the jury is still out.

Then why did we beat LSU 21-0? Why did LSU have 92 total years and never got close enough for even one field goal attempt? And why did LSU fail to finish even one offensive drive on BAMA's side of the field?
Frankly, LSU didn't belong in that game.

BV at least will have more physical teams with good defenses. He’s already recruiting better than Riley

Because Les Miles is a fricking idiot who insisted on running into a brick wall on offense all night instead of making any adjustments. He got out coached. But from top to bottom that was one of the most talented LSU teams we've ever had. There have been many times that we've played Alabama and been at a talent disadvantage. That wasn't one of them. Saban just out coached Miles. He adjusted Alabama's game plan on offense from Game 1 to Game 2. Miles did not. He didn't even try to make any in game adjustments. That's what makes that game so frustrating.

Jarett Lee played in the first game that season. The boy was throwing to anyone with a pulse and did all season. That's why Les feared taking out Jefferson. Our offense was just better that season. And we were so ready for the LSU option stuff.
