As long as LSU is in the game it will have BCS implications.

Seeing that LSU will have 3 or 4 losses at that point, the only implication will be the swamp kittens playing the role of spoiler, but as long as Texas A&M takes care of Mizzou, the game will be inconsequential for Sumlin's first of many trips to Atlanta.

Your Jimmie Rustling skills have diminished to the point of laughter.

What "lesson"?

The lesson you need to learn is that defense wins this league.

So, Auburn's your model?

I think both programs are tied for second behind SMU for major NCAA violations.

Yeah, good luck with that.

TCU is a 8-5 type of team who still recruits at the level of CUSA and WAC teams. Rice, albeit a mid-major, is still going to win double digit games and likely their conference. It's not like A&M was playing Towson, which gave LSU fits last year.

Dude - Rice gave up 47 points to Tulane last year. One of their 6 regular season Ws that got them into a bowl game was against the UTSA Road Runners. They were 4-8 the year before that. They're not really a quality team.

Well, we did win and we shut down Johnny on the run (and picked him a few times).

But it was a somewhat miraculous turn of events because they totally outplayed us in the first half and were about to knock us out. Our offense was awful and we somehow put two scores in before half thanks to some good fortune.

I mean i think most Both teams have 1 loss at that point, but i think LSU us undefeated, and A&M has 1 loss.

You keep saying this. It's dumb. Auburn was #1 in the SEC for stopping the run. They were #1 in TO margin. Get a clue.

It'll be interesting to see if LSU can recover from last season. Preseason #1 to being the sixth best team in the conference and going to the Chicken Bowl.

Finishing 2nd in the west after losing to u guys with 3 new OL ( two of which were freshmen)at your place and being the only team to manhandle Bama all yr? Believe the polls if u want. If u really believe there were 5 teams anywhere that wouldve been favored over the Tigers on a neutral field u are mistaken my little reptile.
How did that complete arse whipping to Louisville feel?
