LSU experienced it in 2019, then everything came crashing down to reality.

Are Tennessee fans lashing out because they understand this is lightning in a bottle 2.0? Only this time they will not have a championship like LSU had?

Oh it’s easy to see Tennessee’s lightning in a bottle and a one hit wonder this year.

that’s why they’ve been melting so hard

Nope, but damn he is impressive. Makes 4/5 stars look completely unprepared.

Well, I wouldn't call it Lightening in a bottle since they haven't and won't win anything of substance except for maybe a NY6 bowl win. That has to suck TBH.

You could make an argument that lsu is in a similar position as far as catching lightning in a bottle in a rebuilding year.

Not the same at all. LSU had generational talent everywhere on the field. Tennessee is just running Big 12 offensive schemes in a year when 13 of the 14 SEC teams forgot to field a defense.

So you think Tennessee will be back next year?

After Georgia stepped on Hendon Hooker’s face with the hobnail boots, I think they remembered who they are.

No they’ll be back to mediocrity after Hooker finally has to leave college at the age of 33.

Or even a share of the East.

Well, UT fans were making the claim that this UT team could have beat that 2019 LSU squad that caught the lightning (before the UGA game, lulz!), so maybe they have arrived at this realization.

That LSU team would have throat fricked this UT squad.

Tennessee returned a lot of talent from last season but loses much of it this year.

LSU should return the vast majority of their team next season.

Define melting lol other than in your imagination. We have had a great year and beat LSU by four touchdowns at LSU so it’s all house money
