Elliot is 6', 230 lbs and ran 4.32. The kid was a state track champion and can jump over defenses that he can't run through or past. I don't know who's better, and I'm glad I wouldn't have to pick between the two.

OSU has him listed at 225 and the average 40 time I find for him is 4.42. To be fair its hard to find an average 40 time for LF7 so its hard to compare. I do understand that Elliot was clocked at 4.32 at one point but you have to go by 40 average to get a good understanding of what a player actually runs. Watching them both LF just seems to move better but that could be bias talking.

That's how OSU fans are about Elliott too. I think the media blitz LF has gotten has also made anyone with even a slightly contrary view out to be a complete outcast in society. As I said earlier in this thread, I want to see what LF does against the stronger fronts he sees this year. I have seen Elliott do it against elite front 7s (I know I know LAST YEAR), but LF hasn't had the chance to dazzle me yet.
I can't WAIT to see the Ole Miss/LSU game and Bama/LSU game. Will legit be walls hitting each other

Of course, there's bias on both sides.

I believe those times are from recruiting. Working with Marotti for three years now has made Zeke much bigger and faster. Fournette is probably a little bigger and a little faster, but it's pretty damn close.
Watching Elliot outrun all of Alabama last year cemented him for me. At the very least, he's close enough to Fournette for an argument.

I honestly much more excited for the Florida game than the Ole Miss game. Florida's defense is IMO the best defense we'll face all year.

I would not trade LF for Cardale lol..
Sometimes it's just the system.. not even the player.. any ways, I doubt he would be successful at LSU... he's had his struggles with the QB guru coach in a pathetic conference..

Most LSU fans had Chubb as the best back in the SEC prior to the start of the season
LF has earned the best back status this season

I love Elliott so I won't admit anyone is better than him

Most experts would disagree with you on that. Elliot is a great back but Fournette is another level right now.

Opinions are like assholes.... EVERYONE has one!!!

Does Eliott run against 8-9 stacked boxes? Running out of the spread is different than running out of the I formation. I say no comparison between Eliott and LF7.

Someone hasn't been watching Ohio State games. I don't blame you, I've only watched LSU games because they are always on down here.

Games featuring Big10 schools vs DII schools don't usually make the cut on networks in the south.

Which game was that? I see plenty of SEC/FCS games, but have yet to see Ohio State play any.

Hey Displaced- obviously ATLDawg didn't see that barn burner Auby vs the dynamic Jacksonville State. Isn't he "down here"? They get their fair share of shite games too.
