This is funny bc they’ve mostly been within a score. But when Georgia puts a 3 touchdown skill fricking on bama, the bama fans start writing revisionist history about how the games of the past went. Haha. Also there was 33-18 which was maybe a game that was closer than the score but still a 3 score game. lol. STFU bama

Yep, well documented that UGA has never had an injured player while they played bama and any time UGA has beat bama the entire bama roster has been injured. Truly unfair.
I wouldn't say it's unfair, but it is the reality that Georgia has yet to beat an Alabama team without a rematch and Alabama having multiple starters out.
You guys asked for this.

Huh? In 2021 Alabama beat Georgia by 17 in a game that wasn't as close as the score because Alabama shut it down. Alabama loses multiple starters to injury, Georgia wins the rematch.
This year @ Georgia, Alabama shut it down for the 2nd half for the most part. Ending the game with a 3 minute drive by running the ball and taking multiple mercy knees to end the game. Alabama loses multiple starters to injury, Georgia wins the rematch.
If you had some wins that didn't come off rematches and Alabama being heavily injured it would be one thing. But this is the only scenario in which Georgia can win.

Georgia was missing multiple starters in every loss to Bama and in each of the wins over Bama.

I'm sure that's true of any team.
What's not true is that Alabama lost to Georgia, then Alabama got a rematch against a weaker Georgia team, with those being the only time Alabama was able to win.
But congrats on Kirby finally catching the Hugh Freeze total wins against Alabama mark. Sure, Freeze did it when Alabama was elite and not heavily beatup and injured, but we'll go ahead and count them as equal for Kirby anyway.
1 more win and Kirby can tie Gus Malzahn. Yes again Gus did it when Alabama was elite and healthy, but I'll do Georgia fans a solid and pretend like they are equal.

So you’re saying every time bama has won, UGA has been 100% healthy and every time UGA has won, bama has barely been able to field a team. That may be the saddest story I’ve ever heard. What horrible luck for bama.

Every team has injuries. However, when 2 teams play twice in the same year and the games go different ways and one team has lost multiple players since the first game, then perhaps that was a big difference between the 2.
Your coach is 2-7, and the 2 wins come in rematches after Alabama loses multiple starters that played in the original.
Thus Georgia only wins rematches after multiple Alabama starters get injured. That's the fact.

But that’s not what happened this year. We lost to you by 3, when we were without multiple starters and lost multiple starters in the game. When we played you later, again missing multiple starters, we beat your arse by 21.

Not all injuries are equal.
Congrats on your win, it was well deserved regardless of injuries. But your fans cant' just be happy for the win and keep trying to take extra meaning beyond it. And if you want to look beyond the win, then there is more to the story.

Your quarterback was sliding 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage.
I listened to the Alabama radio broadcast, Tyler Watts, QB at Bama in the late 90's, went ballistic when Simpson slid down, "You can't just slide down in the backfield, throw the ball away, don't take a loss!!!".

It could just as easily mean the team that lost the first game lost because they had key injuries in the first game. Injuries are part of the game, you don’t see UGA fans crying about 2023 when Bowers and McConkey were hurt. Take the L and move on.

Now contrast that with Gunner. Saban's teams were like that. The contrast under DeBoer is shocking

We played you this weekend and whipped you 28-7, held you to -3 rushing yards and made your QB quit mentally in the 3rd quarter.
Is that an exaggeration?
I'm an Alabama fan but I agree with you. Alabama just got dominated on the offensive side of the ball. The defense played OK, it was not elite but it was good enough considering the bad situations they were put in.
IMO, Georgia is one of three teams that can win it all and I would have put them in the number two spot instead of ohio state.
I agree also that Georgia has greatly improved since the first game against Bama while Bama has regressed. I also feel Bama was a "smoke and mirrors" offense in before the regression due to poor QB play, RB play and OL play, and of course injuries.
I expect Georgia to maybe win the NC while I expect Bama will go out with a whimper on a frigid, windy night in Norman.
Lastly, I don't care about recuriting rankings, other than a few players here or there, Georgia is vastly superior in talent to Alabama. It shows up in the depth of both teams and at the RB position, DL and OL. Stockton is a good QB but since George's offense is not a "QB-Centric" offense like Bama's, it's hard to compare Stockton to Simpson.
Simpson has been average to awful since the beginning of November and it really makes the offense look bad since everything in Deboer's offense is centered around the QB making plays.

I really don't think Deboer told him to slide down. I think Ty did that on his own just like the long out of bounds throw to Germie on 4 and 2.

Alabama fans are always such bitches on this site. Sometimes teams just play better or worse from one game to another. Alabama got its arse kicked this time. Get the frick over it.

Hold it, everyone. I speak fluent bama.
Allow me to translate:
I have no life or self esteem outside bama football. If I don't strongly believe bama is better than Georgia, then my life and self esteem - built on bama football success - will be revealed for the sh*t heap it is. This is fine.
